About the Role As an integral member of our Finance team, the Accountant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our organization. You will be involved in month-end activities, including preparing account reconciliations and journal entries, while delivering accurate and timely management reports and analyses. What You'll Do Uphold the highest standards of integrity and discretion in support of all financial policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory requirements. Execute accounting duties with precision and promptness, including invoicing and "soft" collections, GST/PST filing, basic ledger accounting, and variance analysis. Reconcile general, credit card, and bank accounts, contributing to the overall accuracy of our financial records. Collect and enter data for KPIs and analysis, enhancing our strategic decision-making with your insights. Manage payment processing for management approval, ensuring a seamless financial operation. Take on exciting projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Director of Finance.
