Accountant, Adams Lake, British Columbia When you join our team as a Accountant, supports a broad range of accounting activities, including contractor pay, log sales, stumpage, financial close and reporting. Working collaboratively with accounting and operational teams, the role helps ensure accurate financial information, effective controls and consistent processes. This role will start off as 5 days in the office during the training/onboarding period and then eventually there will be opportunities to work 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. What We Offer Interfor offers a competitive salary based on experience, skills, and qualifications, with an expected range of $65,000 to 70,000 (CAD) per year. Process and manage log sales invoicing and reconciliations. Prepare stumpage & waste accruals, payments and reconciliations. Assist with preparation and posting accounting entries and supporting reconciliations. Process accounts receivable transactions. Prepare recurring internal reports and support ad hoc reporting requests. Provide accounting support and backup coverage across BC interior divisions as required. What You Offer Experience: Previous experience in operational or manufacturing environments. Education: Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business administration (asset). Industry Knowledge: Forest industry experience (asset). Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
