Senior Quality Auditor Automotive Manufacturing

HCR Permanent Search is working with a leading automotive manufacturer specializing in high‑volume production. They are searching for a Quality Auditor to support compliance with IATF and internal quality systems. This role leads audit activities, administers quality systems, and works closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Work Setting: On Site Location Details: Vaughan, Ontario MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Post-secondary education in Engineering preferred Certified Lead Internal Auditor (IATF 16949) Automotive Manufacturing experience OEM portal experience Training and proficiency in problem-solving methodologies Strong mechanical/technical aptitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook RESPONSIBILITIES Quality Systems & Auditing Conduct internal IATF 16949 audits and support external audit activities Plan and conduct supplier, third-party, and internal compliance audits Document findings, manage corrective actions, and verify effectiveness Maintain and improve the Quality Management System based on audit results Reporting & Administration Generate quality reports including warranty, audit, and quarantine reporting Administer the Audit System, including audit scheduling, reporting, training, and follow-up activities Coordinate Core Tools and quality-related training programs Review customer portals and distribute customer scorecards Continuous Improvement Partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to drive improvement initiatives Participate in 5S and continuous improvement programs Support customer-specific requirements and quality documentation processes If you believe you are an outstanding candidate for this opportunity, we invite you to submit your resume and all relevant information to HCR Permanent Search in confidence at: Matthew Snider [email protected] Please indicate the name of the position you are applying for in the subject heading.
