We are partnering with a growing and well-established organization in British Columbia to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper for a 12 month fixed-term contract About the Company Our client is a well-established real estate organization with a diverse portfolio of assets across the Lower Mainland. Position Overview The Bookkeeper will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll support, and month-end administration. Working closely with management and the finance team, this role plays an important part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting day-to-day business operations. Duties & Responsibilities Full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and accounts receivable Process invoices, payments, deposits, and journal entries Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Maintain accurate general ledger records Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules Process payroll and related remittances where required Reconcile GST, PST, and other statutory accounts Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting activities Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in accordance with company policies Qualifications, Skills and Experience 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Recent, hands-on Sage 50 Desktop experience is mandatory Demonstrated experience performing full-cycle bookkeeping within Sage 50 Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and month-end procedures Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to work independently Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive salary in the range of $60k - $85k dependent on experience Vacation Package What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
