Position Overview The Sales Compensation & Payroll Manager is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for US and Canadian Staff. The Payroll Program consists of both variable compensation programs for Sales agents as well as standard staff payroll in both countries. Working closely with Finance, Sales Operations, HR, Data and Finance, this role ensures accurate payroll processing, incentive calculations, data integrity, compliance, and reporting while supporting operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Variable Compensation Management Oversee and own the weekly U.S. pay and variable compensation program, including sales data validation, incentive calculations, and payroll payouts. Perform reconciliations and maintain audit documentation to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance. Prepare weekly payroll and performance reports for Field Offices and leadership. Process compensation adjustments and provide analysis to support Sales and Finance. Support governance requirements, tax compliance, and provide backup for the Canadian variable compensation program. Payroll Processing & Administration Manage biweekly payroll for Canadian and U.S. Head Office employees, including approvals, reconciliations, statutory remittances, and year-end reporting (T4, W2). Maintain payroll and HRIS systems (ADP, BambooHR), including employee updates, system enhancements, and process improvements. Resolve payroll, benefits, and leave issues through investigation and corrective action. Ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, employee changes, and terminations. Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate is highly accountable, thrives in data-driven environments, and brings strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to payroll governance and continuous process improvement. Education Post secondary education in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field. Experience 4+ years of experience in payroll, compensation, or financial operations Experience with calculating and administering high-volume, variable compensation programs. Strong knowledge of Canadian and USA payroll. Technical Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, reconciliations, and data validation. Experience with payroll systems (preferably BambooHR and/or ADP).
