Overview Are you a detailed oriented professional passionate about ensuring accuracy in financial processes? As a Senior Corporate Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll operations and maintaining data integrity. You will process payroll, audit time records and ensure that all new hire and change form entries are accurately recorded. Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to deliver timely and accurate payroll support. This role is a termperary role, lasting up to 15 months. What you will be doing Processes payroll within Company assigned frequencies, which includes compiling payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and withholding union dues, and preparing and issuing paychecks. Processes timely and accurate wage assignments, garnishments, child support orders, and employment verifications. Audits all system entries for new hires, status and compensation change and termination submissions with the support of the HR Data Entry team. Responds and resolves payroll inquiries in a timely and compliance manner and within prescribed methods. Analyzes payroll reports such as Job Costs, Gross Payroll Registers, Vacation Reports to ensure accurate and timely tracking and accruals. Supports reconciliation of outstanding payroll checks with the corporate Accounting team. What we are looking for High School diploma/GED required. 5+ years’ experience with payroll processing. Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred. Union, Construction, Hourly and Salary payroll knowledge required. Able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Technical expertise regarding payroll processing, resolution methodology and client communications. Able to effectively and efficiently facilitate complex payroll processing. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products preferred. Above average planning and organizational skills preferred.
