Job summary
Responsibilities Lead FP&A for Canada. Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes. Conduct monthly financial reviews, variance analysis, and provide business insights. Prepare and present quarterly business reviews to C-level executives. Act as Finance Business Partner to Commercial teams, supporting pricing, profitability, brand plans, and customer projects. Build financial models, analysis, and presentations for senior management. Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and reporting. Oversee transaction approvals and investigate financial exceptions. Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes. Oversee accounting activities through the Accounting Manager and act as the escalation point for technical matters. Review reconciliations, journal entries, and key accounting judgments. Coordinate with auditors and support tax, statutory, and internal control requirements. Manage the Accounting Manager and FP&A Analyst. Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Country Controller, Finance Manager, or similar senior finance role. Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A. Proven Finance Business Partner experience with Commercial teams. Experience overseeing accounting close and managing accounting professionals. Experience in a multinational or public-company environment. Comfortable presenting to C-level and senior executives. Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory. Skills & Profile Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting. Hands-on, autonomous, and highly analytical. Strong financial modeling and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to defend financial analysis and assumptions. Comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or FP&A systems is an asset. CPA or equivalent designation is an asset. French, Spanish, or Portuguese is an asset.
