About the Position: Europro is seeking an experienced, energetic, and detail-oriented candidate to join our accounting team as a Property Accountant. This position offers an excellent growth and learning opportunity for a diligent, great team player with an interest in the real estate industry. The candidate will be working at our corporate office in Toronto. Key Responsibilities: · Month-End/Recurring Journal Entries · Preparation of quarterly reporting packages (including financial statements, work papers and supporting schedules) · Intercompany Charge Backs · HST Reconciliations · Bank Reconciliations · Preparation of Annual Budget · Preparation of Annual Final CAM and Tax Billings · Preparation of Tenant/Vendor Chargebacks as needed · Liaise with Property Managers and Asset Managers · Review invoices and coding of expenses for accuracy · Cash flow management and cash distributions when required Job Requirements: · Post-secondary accounting education, combined with a professional designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) or enrollment in such a program is an asset · 2-3 years property accounting experience · Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize/manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a demanding work environment · Good communication skills with the ability to write detailed reports and communicate well with property management · Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word and accounting software packages · Experience in real estate accounting an asset · Knowledge of Yardi Voyager a major asset
