Role Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, the successful candidate acts as a key partner to the finance team by ensuring the stability, evolution, and optimization of the organization's financial processes. This individual actively contributes to accounting operations, supports the team in the adoption and optimal use of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), and plays a central role in the continuous improvement of financial processes. Over the medium term, this person will become a strategic reference for the team and help ensure continuity for key responsibilities, particularly related to financial systems, financial data governance, and financial close processes. Responsibilities Accounting Management Participate in critical accounting and financial activities, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes; Ensure the integrity and quality of financial information generated by the systems; Collaborate with various finance teams to identify and resolve operational issues; Serve as the subject matter expert for financial processes related to F&O, particularly during recurring accounting activities; Work closely with the parent company's finance teams to ensure alignment of financial processes, data, and requirements; Contribute to preserving and transferring critical knowledge within the team to ensure operational continuity. Financial Systems Leadership (F&O) Act as the functional expert and internal point of reference for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations; Partner closely with business analysts, IT teams, and external stakeholders to analyze business requirements and implement appropriate solutions; Participate in functional testing, solution validation, and deployment of system enhancements; Track and manage incidents, enhancement requests, and optimization initiatives related to F&O; Contribute to user documentation, training, and the maintenance of procedures related to financial processes within the system. Ideal Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation (an asset, but not required); Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in accounting or financial operations; Experience with a financial ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations; Experience in financial process implementation, optimization, or transformation (a strong asset); Minimum of 2 years of management or team coordination experience; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Demonstrated leadership and a continuous improvement mindset; Ability to thrive in a changing and transformational environment; Available to work full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday during daytime hours.
