Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Calgary, AB. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including preparing journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The role involves working with clients to gather financial information, address inquiries, and provide clear explanations of reports and recommendations. Qualifications Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms, and MS Excel). Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities to handle multiple client files and deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to clients and colleagues. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Attention to detail, high standards of integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.
