Summary Of Responsibilities Post general cash receipts and prepare general cheques from requisitions; Post trust account deposits, cheques and wire transfers in; Prepare trust cheques from requisitions, trust reserves and wire transfers out; Post invoices and expense accounts; Obtain signatures for cheques and deliver/mail cheques; Post sundry disbursements and write-offs; Scan documents to accounting software; Post and reconcile Petty Cash and; Other duties as needed. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Excellent technical skills and exceptional attention to detail; Ability to adapt to changing needs and to work with minimal supervision; Skilled in the use of Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel; Flexible and reliable, works well both independently as well as in a team environment; Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines; Excellent communication skills both oral and written; and Completion of a Business accounting program or equivalent bookkeeping experience along with familiarity with legal systems and products considered an asset.
