Job summary
We are pleased to invite a detail-oriented Hotel Accountant to join our team. This role supports the accuracy and integrity of hotel financial operations by ensuring timely and precise reporting of all property revenues. Working closely with management, the Hotel Accountant helps identify discrepancies, improve operational efficiency, and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and strong communication. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Accounting Coverage Perform all regular accounting tasks including cash handling, deposit preparation, revenue reconciliation, and accounts payable coding. Complete VLT reconciliation and ensure compliance with gaming regulations. Communicate any cash shortages or discrepancies to management immediately and assist in resolving issues. Ensure daily labor reports are created and submitted accurately. Control of the petty cash Account receivable Payroll Administration Responsible for the timely and accurate processing and submission of semi-monthly payroll. Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies as required. Prepare and issue Records of Employment (ROEs) accurately and within required timelines. Operational Support Collaborate with management to address daily hotel issues and improve efficiency. Support compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Qualifications Business Administration diploma or equivalent experience. Strong Excel and accounting software skills. Previous experience in cash handling and reconciliation. Knowledge of hospitality operations and Ideal Pour system preferred. Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively.
