Role & Responsibilities Process payroll for Canadian employees across multiple provinces accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial tax laws. Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and statutory contributions using payroll software and spreadsheets. Prepare and distribute pay stubs, T4s, RL-1s, and other year-end tax slips in compliance with CRA requirements. Resolve employee payroll inquiries via email or internal ticketing systems with empathy and precision. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate onboarding/offboarding documentation affects payroll processing. Reconcile payroll journals, verify bank transfers, and flag discrepancies for resolution before processing.
