The General Accountant, under the direction of the Manager ensures the completion of accounting activities as they relate to the National Service Centre (NSC) and the support of Branch Offices. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage the prepaids schedule and prepare related monthly journal entries • Manage the payroll accruals and reconciliation process • Manage the supplier setup process and liaise with stakeholders as necessary • Prepare and post various P&L accrual and adjusting entries • Assist in the development of reporting requirements as requested by Accounting Manager • Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet account analysis and reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts • Contribute to implementing projects and process improvements in the department • Support the transition of acquisitions and expansion in the business • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures. • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System • Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel • Other ad-hoc tasks as required REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS The General Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager. Work Location : Bayshore Healthcare, National Office, Mississauga ON Hybrid – At least 2 days onsite weekly Education Post-secondary Degree or Diploma. Pursuing CPA accounting designation. Experience One year of related accounting experience; a proven track record in balance sheet analysis and spreadsheet usage; strong working knowledge of Excel and Power Point. Other Skills and Abilities Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to meet deadlines; strong commitment to continued learning; attention to detail; ability to take leadership in special projects.

Requirements
