We are looking for a CPA Articling Student – External Audit, Entertainment and New Media to join our team in September 2027 —a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your role: Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial records, journal entries, working papers, account reconciliations, and other accounting documentation for entertainment, film, television, gaming, and new media clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and firm policies. Assist in the execution of audit and review engagements, including the preparation of working papers and financial statements, as well as corporate and personal income tax returns and indirect tax filings, while supporting clients with ongoing accounting, compliance, and advisory needs. Prepare and support the filing of industry-specific tax credit claims, including film, television, interactive digital media, and other government incentive programs, by gathering required documentation, performing financial analyses, and ensuring compliance with program requirements and deadlines. Support client engagements by analyzing financial information, investigating discrepancies, preparing schedules and reports, and assisting in the delivery of recommendations to improve accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls. Other duties as assigned.
