Job summary

Responsabilités principales Superviser le traitement complet de la paie canadienne et américaine. Assurer la conformité avec les lois, règlements fiscaux et exigences gouvernementales. Encadrer, développer et évaluer l'équipe de la paie. Développer et maintenir les politiques et procédures de paie. Optimiser les processus et les contrôles internes. Gérer les activités de fin d'année (T4, T4A, RL-1, conciliations, etc.). Traiter les dossiers CNESST et les activités financières associées. Administrer les programmes d'avantages sociaux des cadres (assurances, REER, HSA, etc.). Répondre aux demandes complexes des employés, gestionnaires et organismes gouvernementaux. Profil recherché Certification CPM (National Payroll Institute) ou équivalent. Formation postsecondaire en comptabilité, administration, ressources humaines ou domaine connexe. 10 à 15 ans d'expérience en paie, incluant les paies canadiennes et américaines. Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en gestion d'équipe. Expérience dans des organisations de taille moyenne ou grande (500 employés et plus). Excellente maîtrise de la législation canadienne et américaine en matière de paie. Solides compétences en leadership, organisation et résolution de problèmes. This role ensures payroll accuracy, compliance with legal and tax requirements, effective team leadership, and continuous improvement of payroll processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee the full payroll processing for Canadian and U.S. employees. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, tax regulations, and government requirements. Lead, develop, and evaluate the payroll team. Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures. Optimize payroll processes and internal controls. Manage year-end payroll activities, including T4s, T4As, RL-1s, reconciliations, and related requirements. Manage CNESST files and related financial activities. Administer executive benefits programs, including insurance, RRSP, HSA, and related programs. Respond to complex inquiries from employees, managers, and government authorities. Qualifications CPM certification from the National Payroll Institute or equivalent. Postsecondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. 10–15 years of payroll experience, including both Canadian and U.S. payroll. Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team. Experience working in a mid-sized to large organization (500+ employees). Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. payroll legislation and regulations. Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or a similar ERP system is an asset. Why Join Our Client?
