Armstrong Jones LLP is looking for a passionate and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team for a 4- or 8-month Co-op position beginning January 2027. This is an in-office position located in Ottawa, Ontario. Please note, candidates applying for this role must be a student currently completing their post-secondary education in Accounting. As a small accounting firm, we take an active role in the development of our team members to ensure they have the necessary tools and support that they need to succeed in their role. Responsibilities Prepare corporate and personal tax returns. Prepare compilation engagements. Participate in review and audit engagements. Analyze and review client prepared financial statements, reports, and filings. Skills and Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships. Passionate and enthusiastic about working in public accounting. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple engagements.
