Would you like to join an expanding moving company in Richmond, BC as a Senior Corporate Moving Accountant? We're working with an established company in the moving and relocation sector in Richmond, British Columbia, searching for someone who can support the financial and accounting requirements of the business, working across day-to-day accounting, reporting and financial operations. Your day-to-day Senior Corporate Moving Accountant responsibilities will include: Managing day-to-day accounting activities across the business, including managing and mentor a team of AP/AR and Payroll clerks. Preparing and reviewing financial reports, reconciliations and accounting records. Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Monitoring financial transactions and ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes. Working with operational teams on financial matters relating to moving and relocation services. Supporting the wider business with financial reporting and accounting requirements. Skills and Experience required for this Senior Moving Corporate Accountant are: Previous accounting experience within a moving and relocations environment. A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounting responsibilities. Driver’s license and reliable access to travel due to limited public transport in the area. CPA designation (ideal). Legal authorisation to work in Canada.
